Ministry of Communications and Information Technology Organizes the ICT Joy Masters Tournament 2025

In a spirited Ramadan atmosphere, the ICT Joy Masters Tournament 2025, organized by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology in partnership with Project Infinite, one of the startups supported by the Digital Incubation Center (DIC), and in collaboration with the Qatar Esports Federation, kicked off. The two-day tournament brings together professionals from the ICT sector to compete in an exciting gaming environment.

The tournament aims to enhance the participation of the ICT sector in esports and create a competitive environment that contributes to the development of this field in Qatar. Through this tournament, which takes place during the holy month of Ramadan, the ministry seeks to encourage key stakeholders in the sector to engage in interactive activities and provide a unique opportunity for ICT sector employees and their families to participate in thrilling competitions that reflect the spirit of Ramadan, fostering connection, social bonding, and a sense of team spirit.

The tournament follows an individual competition format and includes three categories: ICT sector employees, children under 18 (employees’ children), and women. Cash prizes and valuable gifts were awarded to the top three winners in each category.

The tournament was widely supported by sponsors, with Qatar National Broadband Network serving as the Platinum Sponsor, reinforcing its leading presence in this event. Rixos Gulf Doha Hotel joined as the Hosting Sponsor, alongside Microsoft and Promo Vision, among other supporting sponsors who contributed to the tournament’s success.

The tournament is expected to strengthen collaboration among key players in the ICT sector and provide a stimulating environment for networking and engagement.
