The initiative offers 131 vacancies covering critical and specialized areas within the ICT sector. Applications are open to Qatari nationals through the National Manpower Platform, “Kawader,” while a dedicated link has been provided for Residents (non-Qatari) residents to submit their applications.
Fields of Recruitment
The initiative opens applications in eight vital and specialized fields that directly contribute to enhancing the efficiency and development of the government sector. These fields include policy, planning and statistics; engineering and computer science; media and public relations; finance; human resources and administrative development; law; administrative services; and economics and trade. This reflects the Ministry’s commitment to attracting diverse expertise capable of meeting the needs of digital transformation and national development.
This initiative reflects MCIT’s commitment to attracting and empowering young professionals in the ICT sector, supporting its vision of accelerating digital transformation and fulfilling the objectives of Qatar National Vision 2030 and the Third National Development Strategy (2024–2030). Through the Digital Agenda 2030, the Ministry also seeks to enable a future-oriented digital ecosystem that opens wide horizons for Qatari youth and national professionals, contributing to the creation of nearly 26,000 jobs by 2030 and strengthening their role in supporting the country’s digital economy.
Leadership and Specialized Positions
In this context, the Ministry has announced a range of leadership and supervisory positions, including Head of Applications and Platforms Support and Operations, Head of Digital Government Enterprise Architecture, Head of Digital Government Strategy, Head of ICT Policy and Planning Quality, Head of Statistical Research, Head of Training and Administrative Development, Head of Strategic Planning, and Head of Technology Infrastructure.
The initiative also offers several specialized roles, such as Economist, Change Management Expert, Digital Project Expert, Legal Expert, and Cybersecurity Expert. Together, these positions are intended to strengthen national efforts in digital policy development, enhance cybersecurity, support the management of strategic projects, and drive innovation in line with the priorities of the Digital Agenda 2030.
