During the event, the Ministry presented an integrated model of its role in supporting digital innovation, empowering entrepreneurs, building digital capabilities, and enhancing digital inclusion, in line with Qatar National Vision 2030 and the objectives of the Digital Agenda 2030.

On the sidelines of the summit, H.E. Mr. Mohammed bin Ali Al Mannai, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, held a series of high-level bilateral meetings with senior representatives from participating government and private sector delegations. The discussions focused on expanding cooperation, exchanging expertise in the ICT sector, and exploring future partnership opportunities. These engagements also emphasized strengthening alignment between national initiatives and advancing efforts to develop an investment-attractive digital environment, in support of the State’s strategic objectives for the digital economy.

MCIT’s participation also witnessed the signing of 9 strategic agreements and partnerships with local and international entities, reflecting its commitment to strengthening the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem in the State of Qatar. These agreements aim to attract high-growth technology companies, support their expansion in the local market, empower startups, and promote the adoption of advanced digital solutions across various sectors. Such partnerships contribute to accelerating digital transformation and building a competitive and sustainable digital economy in line with the Digital Agenda 2030.

In addition, the Ministry organized 5 masterclasses over the course of the summit, focusing on themes that support entrepreneurship, digital innovation, capacity building, and startup readiness for growth and scale-up. These programs covered advanced topics including innovation-driven growth strategies, digital inclusion measurement, digital maturity assessment, and practical models for collaboration between governments and startups. The sessions provided an interactive knowledge space for entrepreneurs and innovators and fostered knowledge exchange with leading local and international experts and partners.

Throughout the summit, the Ministry’s booth functioned as an interactive theater that brought together decision-makers, experts, entrepreneurs, and academic institutions. It hosted more than 70 speakers and delivered 24 diverse activities, including technology demonstrations, panel discussions, specialized workshops, and success stories. The booth’s program focused on developing the entrepreneurship ecosystem, accelerating startup growth, and leveraging emerging technologies across key sectors. The interactive theatre also hosted the finals of two hackathon competitions, where finalist teams presented their innovative prototypes before a specialized judging panel showcasing the creativity, technical skills, and teamwork of participating youth.

A total of 24 startups incubated and supported by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and the Ministry of Sports and Youth participated within the Ministry’s booth on a rotational basis throughout the summit. This enabled startups to build new networks and explore partnership and investment opportunities with global investors and technology leaders. The participation highlighted inspiring success stories of Qatari startups that transformed innovative ideas into scalable ventures through the Ministry’s innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem.

The booth also attracted strong interest from many local and international startups, which expressed keen interest in the Ministry’s programs and initiatives supporting the digital entrepreneurship ecosystem. The booth provided startups with direct access to experts and a clear overview of the Ministry’s integrated support pathway across different growth stages. Three flagship programs were showcased: the Digital Incubator Center, supporting early-stage ideas; TASMU Accelerator, aimed at attracting international startups and accelerating their growth within the local market; and the Scale Now Program, designed to enable companies to scale across local, regional, and international markets. During the summit, many startups and investors registered their interest in joining these programs.

The Ministry of Sports and Youth participated within the booth by organizing several youth-focused interactive sessions and activities in collaboration with the Qatar Scientific Club and the Youth Entrepreneurs Club, reflecting cross-government integration in supporting the national innovation ecosystem. The participation included several sessions, notably a panel discussion titled “Youth and Artificial Intelligence: Leading Creative and Sustainable Innovation,” which explored the role of youth in leveraging advanced technologies and AI to drive innovation and develop future-ready solutions. The program also featured showcases of scientific innovations, projects, and youth-led robotics, which attracted strong engagement from booth visitors and provided hands-on opportunities for learning and interaction with emerging ideas and technologies.

In this context, the Ministry of Sports and Youth launched the “Young Inventors Program” during the summit, aiming to develop scientific, technical, and creative skills among youth and encourage them to create new solutions in scientific and technological fields. The program targets youth aged 15 to 30 with interests in technology, science, and innovation, contributing to the preparation of a new generation capable of leading innovation and actively participating in building a sustainable knowledge-based economy.
