The SMEs Go Digital initiative, a national programme led by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, empowers small and medium enterprises (SMEs) across several sectors, including retail & wholesale, transportation & storage, tourism, education, and healthcare, by developing their digital capabilities and enabling them to adopt emerging technologies through ongoing support.
Objectives
- Empower SMEs through tailored digital assessments and customized transformation roadmaps.
- Enable SMEs to connect with trusted service providers offering innovative technology solutions and exclusive offers, including access to potential financial support through Qatar Development Bank.
- Enhance SME capabilities through specialized training and awareness sessions focused on emerging technologies.
To join the program, businesses must meet the following criteria:
- Be a registered company in Qatar.
- 250 employees or less, and an annual turnover below QAR 100 million.
Operate within one of the key focus sectors: retail & wholesale, transportation & storage, tourism, education, and healthcare.
