لقد تم اعتماد وإصدار سياسة المشاركة الإلكترونية من قبل اللجنة التوجيهية للحكومة الإلكترونية في أبريل 2015، وذلك لتطبيقها والتقيد بها من قبل كافة الجهات الحكومية. وتهدف السياسة إلى توطين ثقافة المشاركة الإلكترونية لدى الجهات الحكومية وزيادة الشفافية وتشجيع المواطنين على المشاركة مما يساهم في تحقيق أهداف التنمية الوطنية لدولة قطر.

تطبق السياسة على جميع الجهات الحكومية في دولة قطر من خلال التواصل والتفاعل الرقمي للجمهور من خلال محورين رئيسين:

1. التشاور الإلكتروني
2. المشاركة الرقمية المجتمعية

The Policy on e-Participation was approved and issued by the eGovernment Steering Committee in April 2015 for compliance by all Government Agencies. It seeks to institute the culture and practices of e-Participation across all government agencies and improve transparency through greater people participation, thereby assisting the State of Qatar in achieving its national development goals.

The policy covers 2 key segments:

1. Online public consultation; and
2. Online public engagement

The policy applies to all Government Agencies in the State of Qatar and their online communication and people-engagement activities covering the above two segments

لقد تم اعتماد وإصدار سياسة البيانات المفتوحة من قبل اللجنة التوجيهية للحكومة الإلكترونية في نوفمبر 2014 وذلك لتطبيقها والتقيد بها من قبل كافة الجهات الحكومية. وتهدف السياسة إلى التأكد من قيام كافة الجهات الحكومية باتخاذ خطوات لتسهيل وصول الجمهور للبيانات الحكومية من خلال إتاحة تلك البيانات على الإنترنت مالم تكن البيانات محظورة وفق القانون أو السياسات أو الأنظمة أو تبعاُ لتعاقد معين، ولتحقيق الأهداف الوطنية المتمثلة في مجتمع واقتصاد قائمين على المعرفة.

وتنطبق السياسة على المعلومات والبيانات التي هي في حوزة وتحكم الجهات الحكومية في دولة قطر.

The Open Data Policy was approved and issued by the Digital Government Steering Committee in November 2014 for compliance by all government agencies and to meet the national goals of a knowledge-based economy and society. The policy aims to ensure that all government agencies take steps to expand public access to government data by making it available online unless restricted by law, policy, regulations or contract. The policy applies to information and data in the custody or under the control of all government agencies in Qatar
