As part of its commitment to fostering a dynamic digital business ecosystem and supporting digital startups in their journey towards expansion, the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) organized the second Demo Day of the TASMU Accelerator. The event recognized startups that developed innovative digital solutions that contribute to accelerating Qatar’s digital transformation. The event was attended by prominent officials from the ICT sector, alongside investors and industry experts.
During the Demo Day, four startups were awarded financial prizes of QAR 200,000 each in recognition of their excellence in providing innovative digital solutions, which are “SANTECHTURE”, “ESHFAA”, “OREYEON”, and “NAFAS”. These prizes will support the expansion of their business operations and the development of their projects in alignment with local market needs. Additionally, three honorary awards were presented to startups that demonstrated exceptional performance in innovation, entrepreneurship, and social impact. The “Most Innovative Solution” award was granted to “Aumet”, the “Entrepreneur of the Cohort” award was received by Dr. Mohammad Alshaikh, Founder of “Eshfaa”, and the “Social Impact Award” was presented to “PhysioHome”. The winning startups were selected based on their performance during the acceleration phase, their alignment with Qatar’s market needs, and their contribution to the Digital Agenda 2030.
H.E. Reem Al-Mansoori, Assistant Undersecretary for Digital Industry Affairs at MCIT, emphasized that the TASMU Accelerator aligns with the Ministry’s vision to build a comprehensive digital ecosystem that drives digital innovation and supports startups in achieving sustainable growth. She noted that the second cohort of startups in the accelerator collectively generated sales exceeding QAR 72 million, with potential future opportunities estimated at QAR 137 million. Additionally, these startups secured QAR 18 million in investments, including QAR 4 million from local investors, demonstrating the accelerator’s positive impact in empowering digital entrepreneurs and enhancing their contributions to the national economy.
The second cohort of the accelerator included 25 startups from 14 countries, selected based on their ability to deliver impactful technological solutions. Over a six-month intensive acceleration program, these startups received tailored mentorship and support to refine their business models and enhance their readiness for expansion within Qatar and beyond. The cohort benefitted from the expertise of over 200 strategic partners, mentors, and investors, equipping them with essential resources such as access to funding, advanced digital tools, and expert guidance while maintaining their business independence. This initiative strengthens Qatar’s digital ecosystem and contributes to achieving the Digital Agenda 2030 and Qatar National Vision 2030.
The awards were presented by the program’s strategic partners and Cohort Champions: Ooredoo Qatar, Qatar Airways, Malomatia, and Hewlett Packard Enterprise, in recognition of the startups’ contributions and the alignment of their solutions with Qatar’s market needs.

Since its inception, the TASMU Accelerator has supported 50 startups from 29 countries, delivering over 2,000 hours of mentorship and 270 hours of training. Additionally, each startup received in-kind support worth QAR 1.8 million and financial support valued at QAR 1.4 million. Collectively, these startups have secured QAR 228 million in investments and generated QAR 479 million in total sales, underscoring the accelerator’s role in fostering innovation and building a thriving digital ecosystem in Qatar.
