H.E. Minister of Communications and Information Technology Meets President and Chief Investment Officer at Alphabet and Google

H.E. Mr. Mohammed bin Ali Al Mannai, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, met today in Doha Ms. Ruth Porat, President and Chief Investment Officer at Alphabet and Google, as part of her official visit to the State of Qatar.

The meeting explored opportunities for collaboration in areas such as digital transformation and digital infrastructure, with a focus on developing strategic partnerships between both sides. Discussions also addressed the importance of leveraging modern technologies—such as artificial intelligence and cloud computing—to drive innovation and align with global trends in the ICT sector.

The discussion highlighted Qatar’s progress under its Digital Agenda 2030 and emphasized the vital role of international cooperation in accelerating the adoption of emerging technologies and building an integrated digital ecosystem that supports sustainable development and fosters a transition to a knowledge-based economy.
