Under the patronage of His Excellency Mr. Mohammed bin Ali Al Mannai, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, final preparations are underway for the second edition of World Summit AI – Qatar 2025, organized by InspiredMinds and in partnership with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, under the theme “Building the Future of AI Together.” The event will take place on 9–10 December 2025 at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center.
WSAI 2025 aims to advance global dialogue on the future of artificial intelligence and highlight innovative solutions that support sustainable development, while fostering strategic partnerships and empowering national talent. As one of the region’s leading technology platforms, the summit brings together global technology companies, experts, researchers, entrepreneurs, and decision-makers to discuss the future of AI, its applications, and its impact on economies and societies. The Summit aligns with the objectives of Qatar’s Digital Agenda 2030, which seeks to build a diversified, knowledge-based, and innovation-driven digital economy.
Ms. Eman Al Kuwari, Director of Digital Innovation at MCIT, stated: “World Summit AI represents a natural extension of Qatar’s ongoing efforts to host major technology events that unite global experts and partners under one roof. We view the Summit not only as an annual gathering, but as part of a broader ecosystem that strengthens Qatar’s position as a regional hub connecting the region with cutting-edge technologies and global knowledge. Our goal is to build a digital environment that serves the entire region, provides practical solutions for key sectors, and reinforces Qatar’s role in driving digital transformation through strong international partnerships.”
Mrs. Maisie Holder, Managing Director at InspiredMinds said: “Bringing the second edition of World Summit AI to Doha is more than a continuation of last year’s success — it’s a bold step in uniting the global AI ecosystem here in Qatar. Together with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, we’re creating a world-class platform for collaboration, breakthrough thinking, and the technologies that will define our future. Qatar is rapidly becoming a magnet for global AI talent and innovation, and this Summit accelerates that momentum.”
This edition’s program offers a comprehensive agenda distributed across four main tracks addressing key themes shaping the future of artificial intelligence. The first track, Mainstage, focuses on frontier AI, regulatory and policy frameworks, and next-generation AI infrastructure and its impact on economic and service sectors. The second track explores Accelerating AI Adoption across government and enterprise, featuring real-world use cases and insights into how AI can transform business efficiency, alongside a deep dive into the future of energy systems.
The third track features advanced technical sessions, led by researchers and global experts, showcasing the latest scientific and technological advancements in large language models, deep learning, and next-generation AI architecture. The fourth track, Global AI Edge, examines emerging trends in responsible and safe AI development, including a dedicated HealthTech AI Hackathon organized in partnership with Qatar University.
The Summit is expected to attract over 6,000 participants, including nearly 100 speakers from government, leading global companies, academia, and the entrepreneurial ecosystem. The two-day program includes an opening keynote, mainstage sessions, parallel thematic tracks, technical workshops, networking activities, and closed high-level roundtables for policymakers and senior executives.
A key feature of the Summit is the Qatar Pavilion, which will showcase several AI-powered initiatives from multiple government entities, alongside a diverse group of startups presenting digital solutions across education, health, energy, and public services. The Pavilion will also highlight the GovAI Program, led by MCIT, which serves as the national framework for accelerating AI adoption in the public sector through global partnerships and a development model focused on improving service delivery and advancing national digital transformation.
WSAI25 will also include the announcement of a series of strategic partnerships and the signing of multiple agreements between government entities, the private sector, and leading global technology companies. These partnerships and agreements are expected to open new avenues for international collaboration, strengthen the exchange of expertise, and drive the development of advanced initiatives that enhance the capabilities of the artificial intelligence ecosystem.
This year’s edition builds on the strong momentum of the inaugural World Summit AI – Qatar 2024, which featured 76 speakers, over 7 thematic areas across 4 stages, and welcomed more than 3,000 attendees, 44% of whom were international participants. The previous edition also saw the launch of the Government AI Program and the unveiling of Fanar, the Arab Large Language Model, in addition to participation from 27 partners and 25 startups who showcased their innovations to a global audience.
