1374 Participants in the E-Commerce Seminar Series

Doha, Qatar

The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) held a series of webinars on e-Commerce that address the fundamentals of e-Commerce. Through these seminars, MCIT answered the new and frequently asked questions (FAQs) by e-Commerce businesses.
Furthermore, MCIT held several panel discussions that featured owners of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), such as Mersal, Jazp, Buono, and City Centre Electronic Services, who shared their success stories in e-Commerce in Qatar.

MCIT has so far organized seven webinars in both Arabic and English from the series of e-Commerce webinars. The first webinar was titled “Activate Your Store’s e-Commerce Channel: Guidelines Towards Success,” the second was titled “Activating Your Online Store with MCIT e-Commerce Guidelines,” and the third was titled “Your Key to a Trustworthy e-Commerce Website THEQA Trustmark”.

The total number of attendees in the previous e-Commerce seminars, organized by the Ministry on Microsoft Teams, in both Arabic and English has so far reached 1374 participants. The webinars were delivered in the presence of a group of speakers with more than 15 years of experience in the fields of digital development and e-Commerce, and shared their experiences and knowledge with the attendees as well as answered their questions about e-Commerce and the “Theqa” program. Moreover, the speakers explained to attendees how to activate and develop their online stores, e-Commerce channels, and ways to enhance their digital presence by following the e-Commerce guidelines from MCIT.
